There are many elements that make a place unique, define its landscape and give it a unique identity. Elements that mark its history, its culture, its activity and its own memory. Small details or large constructions that speak of a place and its people.
San Sadurniño is an inland council, marked by the course of its rivers: the Grande de Xubia River and the Castro River. As they travel, they draw the landscape of the municipality and leave distinctive elements in their surroundings, which you will discover as you go. The animals of the riverbank, its vegetation and small waterfalls and pools are some of the natural elements that accompany the course of the river, but also notable heritage elements, such as the Naraío Castle.
To bring these pieces of history to life, we had the luxury of having the artist Miguel Peralta from the Cestola na Cachola cooperative. Through his own immersion in the territory, he was the one who portrayed the essence of this unique landscape. The artist was inspired by all those elements that caught his attention along the way, making an interpretation of his trip along the river.
