Routes to San Andrés de Teixido

To San Andres de Teixido goes as dead who was not alive

The most important sanctuary after Santiago de Compostela

The sanctuary of San Andrés de Teixido is one of the best known in Galicia and ranks second in importance for the number of pilgrims who visit it, only behind the cathedral of Santiago. That is why there are multiple paths that cross Galicia to approach this small town, as well as the way to do it: on foot, by bicycle, by vehicle … The hermitage and the landscape that we find until we reach it (in the middle of the Sierra de la Capelada) deserve a leisurely visit, letting ourselves be carried away and invaded by its rich landscape and the tranquility and spirituality that surrounds it.

In the following map you can see the routes of the itineraries, with a summary of the main characteristics of each one of them.
